closing Orange Monkey Hologram Gig...

This weekend saw the last tour date of the hugely successful Orange Monkey Holograms Gigs, celebrating the launch of our music sharing and text package.

To sign it off in true UK style (and a bit of mayhem), recent Mobo award winners N-Dubz and critically acclaimed Pixie Lott came down to introduce and watch their hologram selves.

Crowds screamed, danced and scrambled to get an autograph, and Pixie and N-Dubz seemed to be very impressed with themselves (as holograms).

Watch our videos below to get a lowdown on what happened, including interviews with N-Dubz and Pixie.

Some more coverage of the event by Manchester News.

Tinchy Stryder hits Bristol for Orange Monkey

Yesterday Cabot Circus shopping centre in Bristol was very nearly ripped in two with the sound of ear-splitting screams.

Well, what else would you expect when Tinchy Stryder turns up to watch himself perform at the Orange Monkey Hologram Gig? Watch our video report for the full lowdown on what went on.

Next Sunday we're going to Manchester's Arndale Centre, for the fifth and final date on the Orange Monkey Hologram Gig tour. We'll be joined by sizzling hot acts N-dubz and Pixie Lott.

Think we'd better invest in some earplugs ;)

we're at the Orange Monkey Hologram Gig...

Inquisitive shoppers wonder what on earth a giant holographic box is doing in their shopping centre ;-)

We're in Bristol, at Cabot Circus shopping centre, for the Orange Monkey Hologram Gig.

The crowds are gathering and Tinchy Stryder is less than an hour away. We're getting excited...

Tomorrow you can watch our exclusive interview with Tinchy, action from the day and the hologram performances.

Psyched: Dappy and Fazer at Orange RockCorps, Manchester

Last week N-dubz picked up not one, but two MOBO Awards. The first for Best Album, the second for Best UK Act.

As Dappy, Tulisa and Fazer swept triumphantly to the stage, we were reminded how the hard-grafting trio have taken centre stage for Orange many times this year. And they've never failed to entertain to the max.

Back in July they whipped the crowd up into an awe-inspiring frenzy at the Manchester Apollo for Orange RockCorps. The video above is from our chat with Dappy and Fazer after their performance. It's strange to hear them describe themselves as underdogs now, that's for sure.

Right now their holographic representations are touring the UK with the Orange Monkey Hologram Gigs. Head to the Orange YouTube Channel and you can catch interview highlights, taken when they recorded their hologram performances.

The tour isn't over yet though. And on Sunday 18th we're heading to Manchester's Arndale Centre to the final Hologram Gig. N-dubz will be making a personal appearance and we'll be quizzing them on their MOBO success, how it feels to be a hologram (!) and what their plans for the future are.

So you know what to do. Keep those eyeballs glued to this blog on Sunday 18th ;)

Orange RockCorps gig highlights

More passes than you can shake a... well, a pass at

If you've been watching our videos from last Friday's Orange RockCorps gig at the Royal Albert Hall, you'll know we had a blast. All the acts treated the volunteers to performances to make you go pop, and we loved chatting to them all too.

The Feed's photographer Marc did a stirling job, so to round up our coverage of the event, we wanted to show you some of the great shots he took.

We kicked off filming opposite the Royal Albert Hall early doors.

Alex Zane did a great job of hosting the evening...

And the crowd were simply lovin' it.

Rob da Bank warmed up...

Kelly Rowland whipped the audience up into a frenzy.

Nas: total legend. Every other artist on the line-up picked him for a dream collaboration. He'll be pretty busy then, if they all get their way.

Great shot of Razorlight doing their thing. Despite being the only indie band there, they still rocked it.

Here's Nelly. He and Kelly Rowland played out with their duet, Dilemma.

If you'd like to watch the official highlights of the performances, head over to the Orange RockCorps website and have a watch. You can see more of Marc's behind-the-scenes snaps on our Twitpic page too.

Rob da Bank: warming up the Orange RockCorps crowd

The legend that is Rob da Bank popped in for an impromptu chinwag with Ria from The Feed, before he kicked off the musical revelry at the Orange RockCorps gig last night.

We must say, what a thoroughly nice man he is. Music's very good too ;-)
