Vicki and the Witch got you talking

On a recent visit to the Orange YouTube channel, we had an enjoyable 10 minutes reading the user comments in response to the new Orange Wednesdays advert. If you haven't seen it already, take a look above.

The YouTube commenters are loving the ad, which is very good news in our book, and we have to hand it to the Witch for delivering the joke responsible for the most giggles: "Tell you who did have the legs, that was my sister... 'til the house fell on her." Nice!

Orange sometimes get asked some quirky questions about adverts and Vicki and the Witch is no exception. This time it was a little more off the wall (literally) than usual.

An enquiry has been made as to where you can purchase the rather fetching green and blue wallpaper featured.

Well, we've doing our research now, but in the meantime if any budding DIYers have the answer then do let us know :)

  7. I am surprised that the ad has received such recognition. I thought it was really silly and made no sense at all. I was disappointed to find that it was an 'Orange' ad as I felt you had let yourselves down with this one. Sorry but you are capable of much better as previous ads have shown.

    Then realised it was the sister when I listened to the advert a few more times.

  35. I too love the wallpaper and have searched everywhere now. I've called designers guild and they state it is not their's, don't suppose you have had any further luck finding out where it was from, or has anybody else found it yet?

  36. Hey Lesley, we're afraid we don't have anymore leads after that. We have had the production company on the trail again, but no luck. Because that part of the advert was filmed in someone's house, rather than on a film set, we have to rely on what the owners of the house have told us. Sorry we can't be of anymore help :(
